I swam 750 yds today in 18 minutes.

We were in a hurry to get to my new doctor to establish care. She's 20 YEARS YOUNGER than I am and she's really good.

It's a pain management clinic, but she's a D.O., which I like. Evidently developing an allergy to NSAIDS eliminates most of the docs in this valley. They have mostly gone on strike against treating chronic pain.

I don't know what that's about, but she found it amusing that I still have 1/2 of a bottle of oxycodone from last December. Clearly doctors even think lightweights are funny. laugh2

Plus which I have lost only 19 lbs so I didn't get flagged for rapid weight loss. Phew!

And I applied for 2 half time library jobs. I'm nervous about doing it, because I know they'll call me... but I'm not sure I can work 20 hours per week. What's the worst that can happen? I take the job and then have to quit, right? doh

And I am diagnosed as AS. I don't see why, since I'm not fusing. She said it's because of the HLA-B27 positive. Whatever....
