I could not ride any but a lateral gaited horse now. No way: got to guard my spine - especially cervicals. A PP x Rocky Mountain makes a real good animal. Or, try out a RMH. Can get real smooth ones, and terrif for mountains ! Have a look around. IF you want/need any info, pm me. OK?
