Just spent a fantastic three days mountain walking in Scotland.

Blue skies and snow perfect though each day brought completely different snow conditions. I haven't worn my crampons in earnest for so long for years.

1st day 10.5 miles
2nd day 9.5 miles
3rd day 3 miles which was supposed to be a short walk but took as long to do as the others because it was straight up on rough ground and snow and ice!

Hope the picture shows up I just had to post it to show you guys how fabulous it was. To think a year ago with my foot pains etc I though I would have to hang up my walking boots for good!

Keep exercising its just as important as everything else even if you can't manage much at first. It was interesting that I started the first day with SI pains and soreness that went away, day two slight SI and possible hip soreness but by day three I had no problems at all right from the start. Must have walked it off smile
