i love this time of year!

just a wee bit cooler (in the 60s) and humidity-free, nice crisp beginning of autumn air. the maples just starting to turn. was rainy all day but cleared late afternoon, so just enough clouds for another spectacular sunset. late enough that most of the birds roosting for the night, but the cardinals like to stay up til almost dark so could hear them on the way out. on the way back, almost dark at that point, could hear the eastern screech owl off in the distance.

if i hadn't stopped to take so many photos, could have walked further, but i just love taking the photos of the ever changing seasons.

walked 1 mile, 30 minutes
