Such a lovely time of year. So before I headed into work to make up an exam for tomorrow, We took a walk in our back field.

My right thigh is totally messed up; feels like i strained a muscle stretching it while it was tight due to the spasms trying to protect my inflamed SI earlier in the week. Then the walk on friday strained it much further.

But found if I walked ridiculously slowly, it was ok. So, that's what I did. 3/4 of a mile, 30 minutes.

Was good to walk slow, could really observe all the changing foliage, the rose hips, viburnum berries, autumn olives, milk weed, remaining asters, pretty leaves on the ground.

A robin off in the distance was the only bird we heard. Pretty quiet compared to a few weeks ago when I guess all the birds were migrating through.

Gonna ice and heat this muscle and see if I can calm it down.
