If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

I am looking into running an antibiotic proticol soon.
Does anybody have experience or thoughts on the proticols found on The Road Back Foundation (Harvard & pulsed)?
It will likely be difficult to find a practitioner to prescribe for this but it seems it would likely be my best shot.

The Roadback Foundation has a list of physicians who are amenable to prescribing their protocol. They believe that RA is caused by a certain type of bacterium unrelated to that identified by Ebringer et al. However, their methods do work and they have recently updated their protocol.
I used my own protocol for AS, and did not consult with physicians albeit I cannot recommend this approach for others! Once I got the NAME of the GERM that causes AS, I knew that, eventually, I would employ the original MIRACLE DRUGS.
There is a Dropbox link in my signature: Important AS Resources; AS Online Guide.
Good Luck with it!

Hey Dragonslayer,
Thanks for the information!
I have read your proticol and was wondering if you could clarify a few things?
Regarding the frequency of antibiotic use, you mentioned using Cipro for 11 days on and 5 days off. Was this pattern also followed for the tetracyclines, or was it only for the Cipro? If it was only for the Cipro, is there a specific reason for that?
How many times did you run your protocol (or how long were you on it) before you saw sustained results and found you no longer needed the antibiotics?
Did you find that others who tried your protocol had similar experiences, or does it heavily vary from person to person?
Have you heard of many people with AS having success with the Road Back protocols? I’ve seen a few accounts, but generally the protocol seems more geared toward RA, which could make it harder to find a willing physician for AS.
Looking foward to hearing from you,
Ryan

Hello, Ryan:
My antibiotic protocol evolved into the two agents cipro/tetracycline used in the usual sequence: 11 days (while very strict NO STARCH diet) followed by 3 to 6 weeks (Low Starch Diet). Several breaks for fasting and other cleansings but for the most part of six years (I had had AS for MANY YEARS by then) I did about 40 cycles in total. After this, I had no reaction to starches; my ESR remains between 6 and 15 whereas it was once over 100. After the six years, I no longer reacted to starches. Before I began my regimen, I was able to measure my reaction to starches because here in Philippines I could get ESR tested on demand. Where there was once strong coupling, today there is none.
Several people have combined diet with the antibiotics. Out of about 8 I know about, 2 had severe problems because of increased AS activity. Five days of fasting set them both right then the strict diet plus antibiotics began working. Many people write to me years later, so there is really no way to tell how many people have used my methods; I estimate I have heard from about 30 in total. Once they get this working, they really don't want to promote it, for obvious reasons, so they keep quiet.
Not many people who tried RBF protocols have had real success. Some did use RBF recommended physicians with some alterations in protocol, and I like RBF because their approach to RA does help many people. Ebringer has met these people at various functions.
HEALTH John
