The west is on fire. We have ashes dropping on us today, and lots of smoke blowing over us.


We had a huge lightning and thunder storm last night. It seems to have knocked down our two close fires. In the mid 90's my family's neighborhood burned in CA, so I feel very sorry for all the people over on the eastern slope who have lost their homes. The Rockies are filled with 2/3 dry timber because of the pine beetle infestation. It's like 80ft kindling from Wyoming to New Mexico. Fire is no good. no
