I got up at 4:00 am and caught the bus to the starting line.  I started the race running with the 4:15 pace guy.  That was good until about mile 11.  I had to stop to use the bathroom.  I caught back up about a mile later, but then it started getting hot, and I was having problems.  At mile 17 I started having spasms in my right leg.  I was thinking about dropping out at mile 18.  I decided to go until at least 20.  I called my wife to tell her I needed spasm medication.  After i got to mile 20 I decided it was just 6 more miles, and continued on.  My son meet me at mile 22.5 with medication, then he ran a 1/2 mile with me.  It was the hardest race I have ever run because of the heat, and heat and MS don't get along.  It took almost 5.5 hour to finish, but I kept going, and finished.  I almost fell over after I finished I sat in the shade for 5 minutes. I think my legs were saying I took you 26.2 miles mow I am done.

That is my endurance story. I have some pictures I will post a link when I get them uploaded.
