the day started out and was most of the day pretty gloomy though it never did actually rain. but at around 5 pm, the clouds parted, blue sky appeared, and the sun came out. smile just in time for a walk at the end of the day.

walked, 3 miles, 52 minutes......that's a record for me, not exactly sure what happened there smile

but did feel like after a bikeride so was definitely getting real aerobic exercise. and the only thing that was really hurting were my shins (not even my heels like yesterday, but did try to walk in the grass along the side of the road as much as possible, that helped the heels today).

i so need to lose weight, so that goal is winning out right now, but need to pace self so i can keep doing the exercise. i eat as little as the gastritis, blood sugar, etc allows; will need to be a combo of exercise and diet to get the weight off, though less insulin resistance would be even more helpful, but it is what it is. did start chromium a few weeks back, hoping that will help my cells respond to insulin better smile of course if i had known all those years that not only sugar (which i did eat in moderation) but also complex carbs and lack of exercise were contributing to insulin resistance, that would've been nice, but it is what it is.
