i so missed walking the year i could barely walk from my car in the parking lot into my building at work (ok, 5 months like that, but no walks for a year) and so missed the use of my left hand for 2-3 years (its still not 100% but at least i can use it now for daily tasks).

we're all different, but you really just never know what lies ahead. thus, there is always hope. especially as the swimming does seem to make you better and better over time. i have hope for you! rainbow

and when you can get back to an activity, even a mundane daily activity, you appreciate it in a way you never thought was possible. i always enjoyed walking, now it feels like a freedom i can't even describe! i feel like such a prisoner of this body when i can't even take a simple walk. so when i can, i totally appreciate it smile
