I eat tempeh lately every dinner. I tested it with iodine and the result is negative. But now i suspicious that it can be has starch because i just read about the process how to make tempeh. I made by ferment soy bean (sometimes mix with grain). Do i need to trust the test result? Or do anyone know about it has starch or not and has experience with it?
And what about chocolate? I think i remember that i read somewhere that chocolate is better not allowed in this NSD but i keep to read chocolate as ingredients in recipe thread. Is it actually allowed or not?
And do anyone know the cheese type that are free of lactose because the lactose has been broke down in the fermentation process? I looking for it.
