out for a walk today. hubby pushed me out the door, good to have someone to kick our butts some days. i've been so busy with christmas stuff, been using it as an excuse to not go for my walks, some days.

can't believe its a few days before christmas and in the low 50s. what a nice afternoon for a walk. sun setting. a brief rain shower as the sun was setting and thus a faint rainbow in front of us. tried to take a photo, but too faint. the setting sun made the trees and brush glow golden, but that too didn't translate very well to film.

at one point the sky was really spectacular: one half was blue with blue-grey storm clouds and the other half was orange sherbet colored due to the rain cloud coming over us. that too did not translate to film very well.

the beavers have also been doing a number on the trees along what used to be a creek and now is becoming a small pond. interesting to watch it unfold.

walked, 2 miles, 45 minutes
