From a recent poll, it seems that many of us have other diseases and might be better served by expanding the forums or creating a new organization to deal with those diseases. In 2001 GentleHugs.org, was purchased and set aside for just this purpose. Now is the time get it started.
Many KickAS members have asked how they can contribute to help maintain or upgrade our site, and occasionally we have asked for and received donations.Ours is and will always remain a totally free, non-subscription, site and, as these conditions we face are financially draining enough, we should not be made to feel obligated to donate; especially if we cannot afford the extra expense. With this in mind, we have formed a non-profit corporation as of 5 October 2006, called GentleHugs Incorporated, a 501c3 charity organization. This is now the parent company of KickAS.
We have partnered with PayPal.com to help collect donations from those worldwide who wish to make donations. As a 501c3 charity organization, we can also apply for public and private grant funds and donations.We are currently in the process of upgrading Kickas.org and building GentleHugs.org. We will provide links to the new forums as we obtain the resources to commission them. And, we want to thank, in advance, those who are able to donate, and of course many thanks to all who are members of our expanding family, whether you donate money or time or just send your thoughts and prayers.

In actual fact, GentleHugs, Inc has until the last day of January, 2009 to file the appropriate documentation before the US IRS can even make any determination or issue said determination letter.
