thanks wendy, that does make sense. i know the one thing PTs have tried to make me mindful of is to not mess up one thing while compensating for something else. i hadn't thought of sleeping this way as causing problems til i had the problems with the hamstring tendons, but makes sense that our bodies should be in as neutral a position as possible when we sleep.
