Being as I've given myself 3 injections every day for more than 20 years (

) it was intersting (even fun - sorry) reading your post and all the replies. (I have type 1 diabetes).
When I was first introduced to the concept in hospital I was given an orange and a needled syringe on which to practice. You won't be surprised to hear that injecting an orange and injecting myself weren't quite the same thing

Anyway - I was told that eventually it would become as much of a routine thing as brushing my teeth. The reality is even more strange - I always know if I've brushed my teeth, yet I often have to think hard about whether or not I've remembered my injection. Sometimes I really
can't remember and have to perform my own blood tests to assertain whether or not I have injected.
So, you really do get used to it, it might take you longer with being on a once weekly rather than thrice daily regime, but it'll work out.
There's a fist time for everything! Yay you for your first time eventual success.
