As for the shots Iknow what you mean. Kid brother is juvenile diabetic and doin it all his life. When we went through the IVF for the triplets I had to give Diane a shot everyday. I t was hell. The owrst however was the first injection that had to be intramuscular. Two inch needle and they show the film on what goes wrong if you do it incorrectly. More like a horror film.
So I get my nerve up and after about 3 false starts I finally plunge the needle in, then like you I pull it out from some sort of Neanderthal knee jerk spasmodice reaction. So Diane is not happy and not knowing I have to reinject. Wham I do it again and because she didn't expect it she's NOT HAPPY>
Whew. I don't envy folks who have to self inject.
