No. Is found that my with rheumy diseases tend to have low Vit-D levels, but is not in any way a causal factor. Optimum levels - always under discussion as no one can agree ! - between 40 ng/mL - 85 ng/mL Mine is low.
Get your levels up to optimum levels. Vit-D needs fat to be absorbed, so take a food item with fat in it - ghee, coconut oil are both good. Anything with a 'good' fat. Will also need magnesium and a few other vits, supplements :-
