I occasionally take Tramadol on "bad days" but only about 1 every couple weeks, seems to work pretty well and I'm more functional than Vicodin or Codeine. I found it interesting that my dog had some minor surgery and was prescribed the exact same drug and dosage I had. The vet prescribed 2 50mg at a time, I'd be afraid to take more than 1.
They certainly make things feel better but I worry about dependency so I make sure I'm really hurting before I take one.
