depends.
but generally as the day progresses. if i've sat too much, my butt, back, and SI will "wear out". if i've walked too much, my feet will tell me. and then there are some days where no matter what i do, i just can't wait to get home, take a nice hot bath, and then just sit in the recliner with the heating pad on.
other days, i think i hurt all day long.
the morning is a bit different. hands and feet often hurt a bit and are rather stiff. a quick dunk in my paraffin wax bath (just the hands and feet, not the whole body, though that might be fun

) helps. and my thoracic spine is stiff to the point that bending it too much hurts (stopped trying to do my exercises in the morning, too stiff, too painful). but if i get to a hot shower, that helps my body loosen up quite a bit. mostly the morning is about getting things loosened up so i don't irritate them with activity. the position i sleep in and the bed i sleep in make a big difference in how things like my back and SI feel, a bad bed hurts my back, sleeping on my sides hurts my SI, but if i have a good bed and sleep in my position, my mornings are usually pretty ok. i also take a muscle relaxant and a hot bath right before bed and that also makes my mornings a lot better. before the muscle relaxant, my mornings were not nearly so good.
the only time i'm really bad in the middle of the night and/or when i first wake up (actually its the pain that wakes me after a few hours and doesn't let me sleep) is when my upper back is bothering me to the point that laying flares it.
but more generally, as the day progresses.......
