It hurts to walk on my feet when I first get out of bed, but after a few paces, the pain subsides. It really depends what I'm doing. If I'm sitting at a desk for too long or in the car for more than 45 minutes, than I'll get stiff/sore. If I'm in a big flare, the only thing that will help is lying flat on my back with my neck propped at an angle. Only when I'm going out of a flare does movement make me better.

If I'm not in a flare, and it's just general stiffness, I do feel much better after some movement. I'm always surprised how crummy I can feel before yoga or trapeze, and I come out feeling some muscle warmth/release.
