wow, that diet is strict...you should lose weight on it.....

for me i wanted a diet that lowered the triglycerides, raised the HDLs, controlled the blood sugar, so my diet is quite a bit different than yours.....
but whatever works for each of us.....

i can share my daily menus for a few days if you want me to.

i wanted a diet that i would stick to, so mine has a lot more variety to it,
and i just try to remember a few cardinal rules.

being around food all the time must be hard. my hubby's been good about my new way of eating (he does most of the cooking because he has more time).

but yesterday i cooked; yay, i stayed home!

for dinner we had:
salmon with just a little EVOO so it wouldn't stick to the pan
kashi grains (i'm strict about 1/2 cup serving)
veggie stir fry: carrots, baby zuchini, baby corn, shrooms, mandarin orange slices, brocoli, a little bit of honey, chinese five spice powder, a little bit of EVOO. filled up a large frying pan.

i also made a 13 bean soup for the week:
4 cups low sodium beef broth
1 cup dried bean mixture
canned tomatoes (no salt)
onion, carmelized first
herbs (parsley, thyme, bay leaf)
a little applewood bacon for taste (2 slices in the big pot of soup)

and i made pear sauce (some very ripe, over ripe pears, needed to use them up; a little bit of honey, just enough; cinnamon and freshly grated nutmeg)

i love to cook too.

good luck with the diet.
