been "grazing" since i was in college....noticed that kept my blood sugar constant even that far back whereas i'd be nearly comatose after a "big" meal especially if i hadn't eaten in a while. then when my gastritis kicked in, even more important to eat a little bit frequently.
but, you are right, "grazing" is supposed to be a much "healthier" way of eating.....so long as it doesn't come out to more calories total.....
as for the walking, i'd much rather have some woods to walk through or a nice garden or a pond to walk around or better yet, live on the beach and walk for miles in the surf, but if i were to walk outside around here at work, it would just be concrete and buildings for the most part.
fortunately, i live in a more rural setting and the walks at home are much nicer....fields at least, birds singing, flowers blooming, berries to pick.....
