I can't offer much except moral support, but I do agree with the other postings about a pain clinic referral, you've tried everything else to get these yahoos to listen to you. Depressed? Of course you're depressed, chronic pain will do that. If your doc would only work on relieving the pain I think that might help to chase the black clouds away.

As far as MJ, state laws vary but here in Mass. if you have less than an ounce for personal use it's a misdemeanor, slap on the wrist kind of thing. The difficulty, of course, is getting it without being charged with distribution! Due to my husband's line of work that would not be an option for me (how embarrassing for him if I were caught!) but there were days last winter when I was tempted to look up my old UMass contacts
