I agree with all Bilko says here, beer does the body some good as well as the heart. I drink wine daily, mainly red, but feel the effects of port so stop at the lower alcohol levels - even if mixed down, spirits are a no-go for me.
Dairy cream and butter are mainly fats so they are the best dairy and i have them often.
If there is one hypothesis that appears to be "proven" on this diet it is that the less the gut damage, the quicker and better the results.
