Hi Shane, Very interested in your symptons, I have been to my GP with same problem. I have had pain in my left hip plus pins and needles (very painful)for some months. When my top leg outside muscle them went numb I thought I had better do something about it. The outcome was my GP recognised the symptons and I shall be seeing a Consultant for injections into the joint. Its inflamation of the surrounding sheath, linked we assume to AS - I wonder way its the left hip etc. When I see the Consultant, I will post his comments. Are you able to sleep on left side, I can't as the pain is so bad it quickly wakes me up>
