Vegemite is Famous here in Australia and is a very popular Black in colour spread that many Aussies use on toast and on bread. I literally grew up on it and my Mum would even sometimes spread it on Wheetbix with butter for me and My Sisters. It similar to Promite if you know of if but I must say much nicer!!
I've got my Jar in front of me and even just noticed that it's suitable for vegetarians...hmmm, learn something new everyday!!
It's got yest extract, salt, mineralsalt, malt extract (from Barley, oh it's natural in clolour) and some other stuff that I have no idea what it is!!
