If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

Howdy Taberge, Yes, If the MRI shows an injured hip I am sure my SI joints are flared up too, thus confusing matters and the pain shifting round all the time. Hope you have a great week this week. Thanks for the reply. Debra

My experience is this: First I had pain in the sitbones while sitting. Then my tendon in my lower right groin & upper right thigh started popping ~ a horrible funny bone pop where I couldn't move my leg for a few minutes. It felt like if someone could just reach up under my "butt bone" on the right side, and massage the area that it would feel better. (curiously I was loathe to suggest this to my physical therapist )THEN I pulled a muscle in my right sacrum/tailbone area and the agony was on full tilt. So... the point of my rambling is this ~ I think my sacrum was the problem all along, and my muscles surrounding the area were trying to compensate, which made the final injury all the worse. Does your pain get better when you move? Swim? Swimming has saved my life. Literally.

Hi Erica, Ha Ha love your sense of humour in post and profile. Um yeah .. I feel it is complicated. I dont think it's my hip. I just wish someone could give me a heads up without having to have dye injected into my hip joint! Who determined what was going on with you, Dr or therapist? Thanks for the reply and have a wonderful week. Debra

Hi I have recently written a sort of backwards journal detailing what has been going on ~ painwise ~ for the last few years. Truthfully, though the medical people were almost all kind and helpful, I've had to figure most of the details out myself with the Anatomy Coloring Book! I'm not joking. And of course the swimming & AS specific stretching has slowly peeled the onion of spasms and stiffness back to the point that I can feel more precisely where the pain comes from. Fortunately/unfortunately I have a stubborn streak which causes me to deny misfortune ~ my niece calls me Pollyanna ~ and sometimes this denial gets in the way of being rigorously honest with the minutia of my body issues. That said, I used the pain map from KickAS. Printed out 3 copies and made one for good days, one for average days, and one for horrible days. Then instead of just using black X's, I colored with yellow for good, orange for average, and red for horrible. That was the one thing that really gave me the most specific info. OWhen you do your stretches, are you a LOT stiffer on one hip than the other? I sure was!
