just relax everyone - and if need be count to 10 - its all just information.....more interesting stuff in the "alternatives forum", maybe FASTING could be discussed in that part of forum?
dont ya have to EAT stuff to be on a diet albeit LSD or NSD?
This is like "oxygen + water" i dont even think this is a diet is it?

Issues arising:

1) The DISCLAIMER is contained IN RED ITALICS on the FIRST PAGE of KickAS site, and even a pregnancy disclaimer concession was made for NSD objectors.

2) What constitutes MEDICAL ADVICE for one might be not be for another; I would not get exercised about semantics (again, there IS A DISCLAIMER...page 1; please read!).

3) This FASTING post is placed here within the #1 Forum because this is the forum within which the issue was discussed. Everyone has an opinion about fasting!

4) The original owner of this site was not interested in continuing, due to time and expense. I believe in this site and our membership, so wanted it to continue and made every effort to keep it going.

5) Edgar Cayce is attributed because it is his 3 day apple regimen--nobody else came up with this. Naturopathy has used nearly all of Edgar Cayce's work, but not provided attributes for such things as castor oil packs (which btw I have had some good results with), and even many other nutritional healing techniques remain within the Naturopathic techniques yet unattributed to Cayce, due to his controversial methods. Now a person might find only one of our two double Nobel Prize winners in Quackwatch for his position on VitC and other claims. The point is anyone can find fault with every one of us when they really want to, even the very great Linus Pauling.

We can be taken in by the blather--or do the research ourselves.

6) Claims that I am condescending, but the very claims are made in spurious and very condescending language; expect to reap as ye sow. But...I'm all ears, so please provide examples of when I am "bullying" and specific examples of such condescension--and I will make edits and apologies. It is not my intention to talk down to others, however, the material is not often received with such relish, so people would rather shoot the messenger--I understand that, and make allowances but personal attacks are unwelcome, even against me but I can take it...I have AS, after all.

7) We have allowed back onto this site people who have previously either been banned or left of their own accord. If they add too much to the negative rhetoric they will be removed (as I have NEVER been from ANY site, btw).

8) As far as posting opinions, that is welcome, but we do not allow personal attacks or any negative comments about ANY physician. We don't even allow names to be used, except when allowed by the physician, or discussing authors.

9) ANYBODY can submit articles for publication as long as there are no copyright infringements and we will consider offering them. However, as I have stated before, the material should have demonstrated reduction to successful treatments for AS or other similar conditions. We allow excerpted material all the time, also appropriate links to papers commonly available.

10) If my words have offended anyone, I apologize. I am curt but I do try and be polite.

AMAZING...

The very criteria and standards that have to be met to get medical articles submitted do not have to met as far as the NSD/LSD, articles being submitted. PROVE that they reduce inflamation? NSD is only anecdotal. By your standards your very own articles would not pass the muster. As far as pointing out "acts of bullying" and making this something that can be "explained away". is not needed. It is not worth the time or research to do so. Isn't perception everything, anyway??? I really don't care if things can be explained away. I am not so arrogant that I need to feel I won.

Why the deception???
