If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

Cystoid Macular Edema. Have you had it? How did you fair?
I have been fighting a long bout of Iriris and now have CME. My vision in my left eye has gone from 20:16 (with glasses) to 20:100 (same prescription) in 4 months. I am unclear what to expect in the long term.
Any one have any experiences they would be willing to share?

I'm sorry to hear this. I have no idea what that is that you have, I have iritis and atm my left eye is killing me and feels like it will pop out as it feels so swollen. Even with my glasses I can't realy see out of it very well and my pterygiums are giving me hell too.
May I ask what Cystoid Macular Edema is? Hope it feels better soon for you. Take care

I guess wikipedia offers as good an explanation as any: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cystoid_macular_edemaI am hoping that my vision can be restored. Doctors have so far been noncommittal on an outcome which is why I'm posting here.

Hi Hollingsworth, many uveitis experiences to share, but no CME on my side... sorry to hear you've now developed that. Are you being treated by a uveitis specialist? If you look up the MERSI website in Cambridge, MA, they have a list of specially trained uveitis specialists (both in the US, and internationally - I'm not sure where you are). Any of these specialists would most likely be your best bet to get you out of this flare and best deal with the CME.
Good luck!! -Anke

Good luck!! -Anke I am not currently seeing an uveitis specialist. Unfortunately the MERSI web site has no uveitis specialists listed for my state. Closest one looks like a 12 hour drive.

Hi Hollingworth, I'm sorry to hear you're dealing with this. Sounds pretty frightening. I have had too many bouts of iritis, but no CME, so no help there. Just wanted to add my shoulder to the load.
Hugs,
Kat

Hollingworth, thank you for info on this - Have *placed my order* for. Stuff is V. *expensive! Phew. Just think, I could get the vile meds for NOWT, just suffer the side effects of and prob not do much good into the bargain. This way, a cheapo supplement that I *have to pay for, and prob will hold the problem in check with NO side effects! Quelle choise, eh?
