Hello everyone!!Been a while since I have signed on ,my life has been crazy for a while .Well things are going as well as they can with the a.s..Its still pain all day long but why cry about it .I have had a job sitting all day as I can stand only about 10 min pain free now a days .. and I just passed my new hips 2nd birthday and its doing well so far .I still get out there and surf I actually have been in some contests and blew people away how well I do with fake joints(makes my surg.proud!) haha they allmost dont believe me when I tell folks .Then I suffer and get headaches and major joint pain but I feel it keeps me going and I get worse if i dont surf!!
I just wanted to check in and se how all my a.s. friends are doing!

Thanks ... Yes I feel blessed I would have gone pro if it wasnt for this wonderfull disease...!I am going to go for a title eventually in surfing .Americas best artificially jointed surfer .So ill post updates as things progress.It wouldnt be possible if I had gotten any other type of joint .I am glad I did my research and went with resurfacing...Steve

Hey!! It's good to hear from you! I know what you mean about surfing being the best medicine. Except for me it's Flamenco. OK, so I'm not balancing on a piece of fiberglass, hurtling through massive waves to a potentially hard landing on a beach, but still ...  Keep it up. And pop by more often, ya hear? Many hugs,

Kat,Aloha and steve Its great to see you all again!I will for sure be back on a daily basis again .Its crazy its been 4 years since I found kickas.Thanks for all your help and support .! Ben I did hit the big swells this year ,we have had a big run of npac storms sending massive north swells down the ca coast .!Surfs up ..Steve
