Glad you're feeling a bit better 2day Sam.

Can I ask WHY you're studying in Melbourne when your family is in Canada??
Lucky you - only 6 more weeks then you get to go home for the Northern summer! Now that's what I call sensible - summer all year!

Take care,
Sue

Sam - orribell. Poor hon, many hugs

Now, get yourself some Vick's Vapour Rub. A pair of old socks. Rub Vick's into soles of feet, put on old socks, take yourself back to bed. Old remedy to get rid of coughs and congestion. Try it, won't harm, won't interfere with yr meds and might, just might, do the turn-around trick

I decided to study abroad for Grad School. I love to travel, make new friends and experience school somewhere else. SO Australia sounded like the perfect place to study! Some states in Australia have some good connections in Ontario, Canada where you can start teaching practically as soon as you arrive back in Ontario after the one year abroad! So i signed up, it's been 10 months and for the majority of the time, i'm loving it- Had to get used to the Aussie laidbackness but now it's very enjoyable! Melbourne's weather is a bit crazy with four seasons in one day but I got used to bringing t-shirt, umbrella and jumper everywhere i go:)

Enjoy, Sam

Friends

I am now well again! Not so much at the point of having energy, however I have stopped coughing non stop. Pain has decreased as well:) The cold is either on hold for another day or completing gone- of course I'm hoping for the latter of the two. I have a million assignments on the go that are all near completion phase. With study week ahead of me, i can see the sight and it's BLUE at the other end!

My final teaching round is at a school three tram stops away- about 8 minutes on the tram with about 2 minutes walking time involved! I'll be teaching in a year 1 class:) I am super excited about this, as this was the age group i originally thought I would like to teach (i'll let you know the outcome on June 1st). I don't start rounds until May 14th so i still have a bit of time to build my immune system back up again.

Thanks again for the encouraging words and thoughts;)

Enjoy Today,
Sam

I think somebody forgot to tell you that before you drink the OJ to put a couple of shots of vodka in it.......it won't cure a cold but it will make it more tolerable!

Sometimes laughing makes you feel better, too.......so feel free to blow bubbles in your OJ through the straw.
