"Old who"

Clear this up for me Lori, If you live in NH, you can see the Atlantic ocean to the east of you, right? Or, is NH an island and the Atlantic ocean is then west of NH?

So, when you see these great sunsets in NH, in which direction do you see them? You easterners do know that the sun sets in the west?

I have to go find a map to see if there is any ocean west of where you live in NH.

Old what's his name.

Dunno. Guess I like both but I don't roll out of bed early enough for sunrise so guess I'll have to go with those sunsets.
Prettiest I ever saw was out west. You know when I went through Gallap, NM one night years ago, I saw a full moon sit on the earth. Not kiddding. Larger than one could possibly imagine. Something about proximity and the time of year I guess. Lit up the earth all around it. It was almost scarey.

Nothing out there but it and me and that tower. Ah got to face it. I loved it and will never forget it.

I never really paid attention to which I liked best until I got to Tucson. The AZ sky is totally unbelievable! On New Years day I started to take pictures of the sunset every day. I planned to make a slide show of the years sunsets. BUT, some days the sky was clear so there wasn't a sunset to speak of so I changed it the years best sunsets:) I have about 17 pictures so far. I missed a couple good ones just because I was taking an unplanned afternoon nap.

The sunrise is great to but I'm not awake to enjoy them...I'm a night owl.

Here's three:

It depends on what I'm doing. I see many sun rises as I'm heading to work. But I also love a good sunset as I'm out for a walk on the trail.

I make time to view sunsets. "Sundowners" with friends is tradition, but,.. since I am rarely up early enough to view sunrises, they seem to hold more amazement for me. So quiet.
