Hello Everyone,

I am going to be having another surgery on Monday. They will be performing a skin graft on the pressure sore on the left knee.(The wound is big, but not deep) If the graft takes (I'll know after five days), the wound should be healed within a month.

Also, they did a culture on the wound and the culture came back negative. So the infection I once had is now healed.

They started PT and even though it hurts like heck... Its good to see the left leg moving. I still have a long road ahead, but it is good to be making progress.

I hope everyone is doing good!

God Bless!
Gary

Hi Gary,

I hope the graft surgery goes really well for you tomorrow!!

It must be a relief to hear the infection has gone and you're already taking the next step forward. I hope this works perfectly and helps the wound heal up for good. PT must be brutally painful when you haven't been able to move for so long. It makes me cringe just to think of it, yet I'm amazed and inspired by your strength of will and the numerous smiles you post!

Hugs,
mig

Way to go Gary,

Keep up the great work. I hope today is just a whisper and the graft takes like a charm.

We're rooting for you. One step at a time. Soon be time for the new hips and woohoo, walking like a pro.

thanks for the update.
