dear lifelines...

first of all... the judge needs more info, so we're not quite through yet. she wants x-rays from my rheumy and for me to see the state shrink. i can do that, so i'm not too worried about that.

this was a very strange event... you want them to help you which means they talk about your "shortcommings". they went all the way from my excellent education and pretty impressive work history to the rediculous jobs i might do now, while admitting i couldn't do them well. sounds good for my case... but very hard to hear.

i did like the court-like proceedings, though... speak only when asked, that kind of thing. much better than... "so what do you want and why should i help you". i cried through most of the hearing which prompted the judge to apologize, and i in turn was able to say it was panic, not the comments or questions from her. my brother say behind me and you could tell he was trying to speak up for me, the judge seems to understand he was trying very hard to protect me.

anyway... i suspect that spending several days very upset about all this, it will take some time to feel better. although, i'm certainly relieved it's over.

i truly thank God for you guys. i could not have done this alone!

healing hugs,
teddi

keep smiling... it matters! FYI-Because of its literal definition ("fear of the marketplace"), agoraphobia is often misunderstood as a fear of crowds or a fear of open spaces. The clinical definition of agoraphobia is a fear of situations or places "from which escape might be difficult (or embarrassing) or in which help may not be available in the event" of a panic attack.

Sweetie, I'm so glad you got through it. It's been rough, but sounds like things are going in the right direction. Take it easy. Once you are finally through all of this, you're going to feel 50 pounds lighter.

For now curl up with a blanket, and rest. I'm so glad you have such a good family there. Aren't we glad we didn't kill your brother. Seems he's useful after all

Another round of wrap me up hugs,

~Chelle

{{{{{{Teddi}}}}}}} There's a big hug for you. I'm so glad it went smoothly for you today. It sounds to me like the judge just needed backup for a decision she's already made! We're praying for a speedy decision for you! Now you need to rest up to recover from the stress of this.

Teddi its sad we have to go through things like this,First all we would not be there if we did not need it second i would rather work if i could i dont like setting around in pain.It make a person feel belittled to have to go through the process and the worst part is we are the ones who gave them the money in the firt place,I hope it go's through.Hold your head up high this is something you need.

Teddi, you've made it over the first hurdle and sounds like you cleared it with room to spare. The judge sounds very sympathetic, fortunately.

Well done!

Hugs,

Kat
