Hi Angie,
WOO HOO! I am so glad you decided to join the STARCHLESS!
I know that I saw a big difference right away on the NSD so I hope and pray you will too. Don't get discouraged though if it takes a while, for many it takes time to work through the diet. I was able to stop Vioxx after only a couple weeks. I have wanted to take it a few times that I have unknowingly ingested something I shouldn't! (Why I also gave up dairy and sugar

) Just know that the diet takes TIME to learn what you can and can't have.
I would make sure you have fresh & dried fruit handy. Also good idea on the almonds & walnuts, it is amazing how they can fill you up with just a few. I snack on golden raisins & dried apricots alot. Try rolling up some cheese in a slice of turkey or ham. I know I can find enough to eat, it just isn't as varied of a list anymore!

I am also sure you will see a big difference in your IBS. I know mine cleared up almost overnight by sticking to the diet religiously! Try getting Elaine Gottschall's book Breaking the Vicious Cycle. It is an easily read book, knowing you have little ones like I do, you probably don't get the luxury of reading without interruption very often

!
Good for you and keep us posted! We want to ENCOURAGE you!
Thanks for letting us know,
Janet
