Hi all my loved ones,
Well another storm is here and dumping an additional 4 to 6 inches which is not good. We are suppose to get more snow on sunday and another huge front on wednesday where they are afraid to predict snowfall right now.
Some issues are people are still trapped in their driveways because of the snows and snowdrifts. We have hundreds of people begging even to pay people to come rescue them from their homes.
Semis are still stuck and havent been able to get groceries to the store so the stores are starting to be empty. Bill and Tori are going right now and we are hoping for some things which all the basics are gone...
We have many roofs on businesses that have collapsed and now more snow on top of it...
Im not sure how much more the town can take, I know for some of you this kind of storm is normal with the horrid low temps, but you have to remember oklhoma is a panzy state..lol this last blizzard made the records. Schools have been out all week at this rate our kids will be going to school thru June..lol
Some of our fears is that our elderly have been trapped so this weekend we will try to reach some of our neighbors to see if they are ok. The ONLY good thing so far is no loss of electricity but if we keep getting snow with the low temps it is almost certain to happen.
I have been housebound for 9 days now which that is ok, we have an emergency plan if I need to get to the hospital. I am stil having issues and have not heard from the Dr but most places just today tried to open, the big reason is no one could get the lots cleaned.
We have just not ever had anything like this in al my 47 years of being here.
Just keep us all in your thoughts and prayers and I appreciate thoughts and prayers, I cant even make an apt for a new Cardiologist until some of this clears up.
Needless to say I am down...
Tori tried to clear off the trampoline before it broke it was hanging almost to the ground by the weight, she got it off and said there was probly a 20lb glacier in the middle.
We are trying to save our pool, Bill and the kids got what weight they could off of it, there have been several above ground pools collapse due to the weight of the ice and snow on them.
There are still I wont say hundreds but many, many semi trucks and drivers stranded on the highway they have been staying in their trucks to stay with their rigs, once they run out of gas not sure what they will do, hopefully the national guard will help they have dispatched about 300 of them to help find stranded drivers.
Just keep us in your thoughts and for me to find out the answers I need.
Love you all, thanks for being here for me.
