Firstly I would just like to say to DWK I'm sorry your post has been turned into a full-blown argument and I feel this is out-of-order but seems to happen far to often on here at the moment.
This is a typical example of what I was saying in my previous post about being upset about the tone in which people talk to each other.
Although I agree with a lot that has been said I feel it is a shame it had to turn into an argument that has got out of hand.I accept that John can seem to be very aggressive and pushy with the way he talks to people along with several others and that is not in my opinion acceptable. But in saying that I do have respect for him in he's beliefs and he's knowledge of the disease.Perhaps he doesn't mean to appear the way he is and it's just hes personality I don't know its difficult to put feelings into the written word and can easily be misinterpreted.
I don't have belief in fasting I think its wrong in a lot of cases but that's my opinion and I make my own decisions I'm sure I do things people would think wrong but that's just for me not for anyone else.
I have suffered for a very long time and know what does and doesn't work for me the same as we all do. And all we can do is tell others on here and its up to the individual if they try it or not but maybe some of the information can help others.
As for Admin and the Moderators I think they have a very difficult job keeping us all under control it's not easy for them staying neutral when they have AS or RA as well. We all come from different countries with different beliefs so we will have times when we disagree I disagree with a lot of things said on here but try not to disrespect others opinions.I know that is not always easy and have slipped up myself on occasions for which I'm sorry I'm certainly not perfect.
But again would ask people to calm down and respect new members like the Lady who has just joined because her 6-year-old is suffering and she needs help and support. We have a great site here which is going to get ruind by not being to control our tempers. Have debates yes I love it we all do but don't turn it into a personal slagging match be respectful as well as challenging.
