Kat,
The last time I took my 13 year old son to get glasses, he got regular glasses with sunglasses that went over and clipped on. They're not the old, dorky kind that clip on with a noticeable metal clip. Instead, there is a tiny magnet built in where the arms meet the front and a tiny magnet on the sunglass piece. The set up is kind of hard to describe, but it's not noticeable or geeky-looking at all and the extra cost was pretty minimal.

That might work for you.

I know what you mean about the swirly lines and things. I've only had them about half a dozen times. They are strange, though almost entertaining. They always left me tired also.

I cannot make the universe obey me. I cannot make other people conform to my own whims and fancies. I cannot make even my own body obey me.

Hope is the thing with feathers that perches in the soul - and sings the tunes without the words - and never stops at all.
