If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

Kat, The last time I took my 13 year old son to get glasses, he got regular glasses with sunglasses that went over and clipped on. They're not the old, dorky kind that clip on with a noticeable metal clip. Instead, there is a tiny magnet built in where the arms meet the front and a tiny magnet on the sunglass piece. The set up is kind of hard to describe, but it's not noticeable or geeky-looking at all and the extra cost was pretty minimal.
That might work for you.
I know what you mean about the swirly lines and things. I've only had them about half a dozen times. They are strange, though almost entertaining. They always left me tired also.

Thanks for the tip, Karen!
Yah, the swirly prisms are kind of pretty. Sometimes, they're black and white geometric shapes swirling, sometimes colour, always interesting and wooze inducing.
Many hugs,
Kat

Kat,
I got the clip ons or spring loaded ones that go over my glasses the last time I had them changed and it was like $30 extra. Then went to the drug store to pick up some of my prescriptions and they had the same spring loaded covers for like $7. I have to have mine changed again soon as the iritis stuff clears and my eyes are stable so I think this time I will get the glasses and go to the drug store for the sunglass part.
I normally don't wear my glasses to drive or do much outside unless it is something detailed. The Raybans I have worn for probably ten years now. If you consider what I use to pay for the cheap sunglasses the Raybans have paid for them selves a few times over.

So, the headache doc said that it was vertigo of all things and has her on new meds. hopefully it'll help. but, at least this is the first doc to give her hope that this is a phase and she'll get thru it. hopefully his assessment is correct. trace
