It's really hard to say what treatment is better. Not knowing your medical history. I have been told that the normal progression is NSAIDS, Prednisone, MTX, then the Inhibitors. Every Rheumy is different as well as each country's medical providers. the Inhibitors like Enbrel are great for many but some of us can't use these meds due to heart valve problems and chances of infection from joint replacements. Make sure you write a list of things you want to discuss with your Rheumy this week so you cover everything and don't forget something.
