We go to
Maya Tankah in Tulum, which is about 1.5 hours south of Cancun. I've linked the hotel name for you. It's small, intimate, not crowded and perfect if you aren't into clubbing and partying to all hours.
We went there about 18 months ago and just loved it. Perfect for us. When we were last there, it was full of bohemian, hippy types. We met a lovely couple there who turned out to live about half an hour from us, so we've kept in touch. We're even considering going back in February with them.
You went alone???! Try not to do that again, OK?
Anyway, end of month has arrived a little late and I'd best get typing for the boss.
