Hi, I'm a 1d, 2a, 2e. I've only been trying it since July, but have only used NSAID's twice since then--and that was for hurting my shoulder throwing water balloons.

I believe NO STARCH (and yes, it is everywhere!) works in general, but there is more to it than just simply that. And we're all different. I have a lot of food allergies and was already limited in what I could eat--no beans or dairy or chicken or tomatoes for example. Only peanuts and soy can kill me, so I've added some dairy back into my diet, and experiment with the levels of allergic reactions. It seems that if I am reacting--to whatever--I react more to anything/everything. If my immune system is mellow, I react less to borderline allergic foods. Makes sense.

Lately, I'm starting to think it may be !YES GREENS! that works best. I have had pain when I ate no starch but also ate no greens. I didn't read any books and didn't know how at first to do the NSD, so I dumbly just started substituting the common meal fillers, pasta, rice, potatoes or bread for GREENS! That's my NSD. I feel like a lettuce addict!! I like asian greens a lot too! Haven't found anything green to put butter and jam on yet. . .
