Thanks for your Santa letter, Jeanna. That really brought back a childlike feeling of anticipation for me. How quickly we grow up.
Today we are having our first snow! It is not even winter yet. That is strange for my part of the state (Central North Carolina). I got to come home from work early and everything. I sure wish my room mate would move back from Chicago so we could go out and play.
...A tiny baby Ladybug just landed on my computer. What a pleasant surprise.
Have a great evening.

Thanks for sharing this Jeanna.I love the spirit of Christmas ,especially because my 3 grandsons are at that age where they do leave cookies and milk . They also leave a couple carrots for the reindeers. The 1st thing they do on Christmas morning is run to the family room to check see that Santa and his reindeers got the snacks. It is so Christmasy to be with them .They also bring back memories of our younger years at Christmas time. It's a wonderful time of the year...

I think you're right Oak.....Christmas was never so hot for me either......it seems to be nothing but extra work, extra stress, snippy relatives, and competitions for how many lights one can fit on the outside of their houses without blowing out the town's power supply (just like in the Mastercard commercial! ) Also theological reasons which are far, FAR beyond the scope of this NG impact my "holiday" midset....shall we say

Only one thing for me to say, HAPPY CHANUKAH! I have officially disowned Christmas.

Bridget, where abouts are you? I'm stuck in luverly downtown Salisbury, NC (about 45 mins north of Charlotte) This weather is not too nice. I would have rather had just snow.

Wow Jeanna that was cool. My little boy puts out the cookies and milk . Never thought of the letter thing I think I will try it this year and make his Christmas x-tra special. It is so sad that some people want be enjoying Christmas this year. I lost my only brother in August of this year, we were so close only 11months apart in age (35) and I could not think of not celebrating Christmas. He will be greatly missed this year but Christmas is the time of year to be jolly. Oak I sure hope things get better for you soon, It breaks my heart to hear you having such a tuff time. HAPPY HOLIDAYS ALL

Wow Donna.

I'm touched to hear that Santa might leave a letter at your house this year.

I'm also very sorry for you loss, I can only imagine how difficult it must be for you. I hope you'll be surrounded by friends and family and lots and lots of love this year.

Hugs,
Jeanna

Wow! If we went home from work/school early when it snowed, we'd never go to work or school!
Hope you were able to find some good snow time . Make an extra snow angel for me OK?

Hugs,
Jeanna
