Hello My Dear Friend's, It seems that I have made a come back. I have been thru a period of time of both depression and physical pain, of which there seemed I could find no way out.
I am "Happy" to report that at last I seem to be on the mend. I have been on MTX for a little over a month. {but I must say that it seems to be doing little} I remain on Oxy Contin 20mg 3xdaily. Hopefully in a few weeks they are going to add REMICADE to the mix. The VA here in Dallas has taken a very strong interest in the treatment of its AS patients, and are soon to begin a study using REMICADE in tandem with the MTX. I have great expiations that the combination will be beneficial.
I have started carving again and am in the process of trying to put together a class teaching woodcarving. The first class will consist of carving Christmas ornaments. This is something that I enjoy greatly and have not been able to do in over two years. I will take pictures of the new items and share them upon completion.
It has been some time since I last visited KickAS and have missed the many friends that I have made here. I am looking forward to getting to know the new members as well.
The site has made some changes since I last visited and it will take me a little time to learn how to navigate it with ease. Any tips will be greatly appreciated. THANKS and its good to be back..............Gary Simmons

Hey Gary

You have been missed more than you know. I hope all is well with you, and it is great to hear that you are carving again. I am sure that we will bump into each other and catch up.

Gary!

Welcome back. We have missed your odd sense of humor and curious stories. Hope that you have put the brakes on the worst of it now.

Best Regards, and ()

GARY !!!!!!!

Hey friend its been way too long. There have been changes to the site, but it just wasn't the same without the wudcrvr. I am so glad to hear that your still kickin. I sure hope that you get into that remicade study. I have been taking that combination of MTX and Remicade with great results. I really hope it does the same for you.

Have you heard from your partner in crime, BBJ?? If we had him back now it would be nearly complete.

Welcome Back...
Chris

My dear Gary,

If a genie in a bottle granted me a free wish for something good to happen to us today, I would have to tell him that his offer is too late. That something good has already just happened. Welcome back! We sure missed you.

Hi Gary,
So happy to see you back
Just the other day some of the girls and I were chatting and your name came up as someone we've missed so much and hoped would be back soon.
Didn't know our wish would come true so quickly!
Glad to hear that your carving again..can't wait to see your finished projects,
and looking forward to seeing our buddy posting again.
As far as the new site...it's pretty easy to get used to. You just have to play around some and you'll find your way around. Be prepared for a game of peekaboo when you go to the "Who's online" area.
Hugs,
Lisa
