Thanks, Pello I'll check this out - - the English ones My family jokes that I am serial bilingual, I learn a language and then when I learn another one the first one goes right out of my head. Interesting that I had such a tough time with French - - well, I took it in college and perhaps my social life was more important than learning French? - - yet learned Portuguese relatively quickly, and the languages are related, as they both have elisions, 8 vowel sounds versus five in English, Spanish, and many other languages, and nasalities. I remember way back when, when I took Yoga lessons (and taught a bit) breathing was key there too. I follow the LSD, don't have the discipline for NSD and also didn't have as much response from it as I expected.

"I remember way back when, when I took Yoga lessons (and taught a bit) breathing was key there too". The other key is the place for joints. In "standard" exercises for AS and standar rehabilitation also, you must move. Like Kickas says, "move it or fuse it", and it's true. The problem comes when your joints haven't place enough for moving. Stretching and lengthening back muscles chain, we must enlarge these places, so that joints can move more and more, and extend the angles of every joint.

For me was a great surprise to notice that neck was improving quickly but there are more important problems on soles of the foots, ankles and knees. Because back chain runs over compensation laws: if I have pain in neck or my right knee is more and more twisted, maybe the first problem is on the soles of the foots, and this wil be the last to improve. If you read Mezieres laws, perhaps like me you wil know better some mechanical damages. For example: being right, you will bend your heat towards right, your right shoulder will move forward, your right hip also, your right knee will deflect toward inside, right foot toward outside, right foot's toes also toward outside, etc.If you are left, all that the other way.

My son is right and my daughter left. We did the proof: "Lie down on the floor, relaxed". Boy bended a little his heat toward his right, and girl toward her left.

In no small measure, loss of height is related to it.

Other key? The psysioterapist or trainer. I did the same physic work within a group 14 (or more) years ago, and I don't have very happy memories of that. But other psysioterapist on the Northern Basque Country (our South Country is in Spain, and the North in France) instructed me 12 years ago on some exercises wich now I'm learning are from the Mezieres Method. This method is very extended in France, even between "standard" physioterapist or kynesiterapeutes (on french).

Hugs.

Pello

Aaron,

I understand the picture outlook. I thought I was pretty normal looking until we did an ad in the paper and I saw it the next week. I looked at myself and thought, man this guy looks in bad shape. I still think I appear normal until side profile pictures show up. Well, I am still standing and am thankfull for that. Take care.

....die, they just shrink away.

Once 6'0", now an "optimistic" 5'4" or so but got a Doc who says with the hip refurbishing and bone graft could get me an inch or so back. As Milt pointed out I'm not sure where he plans to locate that inch but hoping it'll get me closer to 5'5" -5'6" so I'm ahead of the game when the inches start vanishing again.

Word on the street per Bruno is that 3 of the larger ASKickin' gremlins store the missing ASKicker inches in enormous beer brewing vats in some sort of underground cave. Bruno is trying to trek down the location of said cave to restore our missing inches.

At least this is what I heard.
