If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

Anything in Portuguese? I still can fumble along in that language, used to speak Spanish (we had to speak it at home on Wednesday nights when I was a kid, no English allowed, my father was bilingual and wanted all of us to be also) and have studied French but I am not a good language student, have to BE in a country in order to force myself to learn the language. I used to speak Japanese too but that's because I lived in Japan for five years. My sister speaks French, Spanish and Italian, taught those languages for years. Your English is much better than my Spanish or Basque could ever be. Cheryl Dogs don't want to know about every other dog you've been with

Hello, Cheryl: Is fantastic your curriculum on languages. I hope you less need the dictionary writing in spanish than me in english. Well, now Mezieres Method... - In http://www.positivehealth.com/permit/Articles/Bodywork/joel27.htm you have one long explanation about. I din't red all, but it sames very interesting. The positions wich you can see in pictures same a little hard... my physioterapist left this exercise for later. In english. - Nekane Ripodas http://www.cenlit.com/guia/manual.html made her own interpretation over Mezieres Method here in Basque Country and published this book for whom want working at home. In spanish. - Le Collège International des Praticiens de Reconstruction Posturale http://www.reconst-posturale.com/ is a physioterapist way built over the theory of Mezieres. Also in english. - Reeducación Postural Global http://www.netaldea.es/itg/ was developped by Phillipe Souchard, one former student of Mezzieres. In spanish. - Anti-exercise http://www.antiginnastica.com/index.html is another way over Mezieres, created by Therese de Bertherat. Her books were very much sold. Fantastic for your languages abilities: you can read here in spanish, french, english, portuguese-brazilian and italian. This physic therapy in being very important for me -always with the No Starch Diet. In fact, another AS sufferer here in my village -seeing my improvement, I'm sure- asked me for the physioterapist and now we are twoo having coffee and going to the physio all saturdays. If you ask me for summarize this stuff: lenthening back muscles chain (from TMJ to toes) by relaxation and streching with breathing. Breathing is the key, and all movements are made in expiration. One day -when my web site will be running- I'll put some pictures with my exercises in the net. Agur (ciao!). Pello

Shrinking? Oh yeah. I used to be 5 10 or 5 11 and at my doc's visit a year ago I was measured at 5 8. It was such a shock to me but I had started to notice that people who I used to be taller then were now the same height or taller. It is a little depressing.

Bill, I'm pretty sure I've lost some height, but with the exception of someone a couple of years ago, nobody's actually commented on it. I guess that our spines must contract a little with all the A.S. trauma. Don't really have anything comforting to say, tho, so I think I'll just go away now. Hugs, Kat

Hi Bill.. YES... used to be a proud 5'5" and somewhere along the way AS stole 2 inches!! I am now a squeak but proud shorter bug. My podiatrist told me recently it was due to the fact of my left leg being 4 centimeters shorter than my right leg. I asked him if it was congenital. He said...more due to my arthritis and mechanical damage done from the arthritis. He is right about that. Upset am I??? YES! It has put a serious damper on my flare cut jeans and boot cut pants..bellbottoms...etc....now I have them dragging along. I need about 8-9 pants altered...eek!! That COULD be expensive!! Take care..sounds like you are not alone. My mom and Art both pointed out that I was a bit of a shrimp these days...I said "bugs are insects..not seafood" Hugs]] Buggy

I've decided to leave sunny south Florida and go live in the state of denial.
Cheryl, you know what I told that doctor last week? I deny having DDD, I deny having shrunk, I deny having sponylolisthesis...and I DON'T want to hear it....I'm only 29, LOL! But then, why is my back killing me????

I've had people mention things like that to me as well. I always picture myself in the upright position, but I was at a wedding last month and when the pictures came back I could barely reconize myself. So I was at the Dr.'s office last week and he measured my height at 5'10". When I graduated high school I was 6'2". I'm still trying to accept that, but its not working so far =) Oh well, I guess I'll get used to it soon enough. Its strange because my brain still thinks I'm standing up straight but when I see my reflection I realize that I'm not. ~Aaron
