I get mouth and tongue sores all the time.....the size of loonies...huge! Anyway everytime I stop taking my NSAIDS they go away immediately. Funny. Everyone I asked including my doctor and pharmacist said that these were NOT caused by the medication I was taking. I went to a Naturapath, and she insisted that was the reason, I knew it was from process of elimination.

I stop taking my NSAIDS all the time because they get so bad.

Anyway, I remember the Naturapth telling me, and I quote "if this is what these meds are doing to the inside of your mouth, imagine what they are doing to your stomach, and everything else down there." I never forgot that!

Hi Jams,

I get painless dark pink lesions all over my tongue when I'm in a bad flare -- but what you're describing sounds more like canker sores to which my children are prone. Lately, I've been having them eat yogurt (the best kind is the organic plain or vanilla) and even having them hold a little bit of the yogurt on the sore for several moments at least once while they're eating it. I know it sounds weird, but I got this solution from a Natural Healing book and, amazingly, it seems to help.
