He was big but he awesome. He's slimmed down now and is just as fine as ever, but I'd take him any old way he came to me. Michael Chiklis too.

I knew you were a great lady even without the Meatloaf awareness. Meatloaf , although I never had a crush on him, #1 in my book. Wedding song for me and the Lovely Di (no not Bat Out of Hell) last track on album For Cryin' Out Loud.

Greatest Meatloaf romantic ballad lyric-
"....looking for a ruby in a mountain of rocks, there ain't no Coupe DeVille hiding at the bottom of a CrackerJack Box". Lyrical rhymes like that don't grow on trees.

Jim Steinman: Superb - truly superb - songwriter.
Meatloaf: Superb - truly superb - performer.

A marriage made in heaven...... except poor ol' Meaty didn't get royalties from Bat Out of Hell.

"That's no way to treat and expensive musical intrument!"

Have you heard that CD yet? It's really good and oddly enough every time I hear Laywers Guns and Money I think of you!

and as for lyrics......

Meat.......
And I would do anything for love, I'd run right into hell and back
I would do anything for love, I'll never lie to you and that's a fact
But I'll never forget the way you feel right now, oh no, no way
And I would do anything for love, but I won't do that, I won't do that
Anything for love, oh I would do anything for love
I would do anything for love, but I won't do that, oh I won't do that

Some days it don't come easy, and some days it don't come hard
Some days it don't come at all, and these are the days that never end
Some nights you're breathing fire, and some nights you're carved in ice
Some nights you're like nothing I've ever seen before or will again
Maybe I'm crazy, but it's crazy and it's true
I know you can save me, no one else can save me now but you

As long as the planets are turning, as long as the stars are burning
As long as your dreams are coming true, you better believe it
That I would do anything for love, and I'll be there til the final act
I would do anything for love, and I'll take a vow and seal a pact
But I'll never forgive myself if we don't go all the way tonight
And I would do anything for love, oh I would do anything for love
Oh I would do anything for love, but I won't do that, no I won't do that

I would do anything for love, anything you've been dreaming of
But I just won't do that

Patti Russo..........
Will you raise me up, will you help me down?
Will you get me right out of this Godforsaken town?
Will you make it all a little less cold?

Meat...............
I can do that! I can do that!

Patti..................
Will you hold me sacred? Will you hold me tight?
Can you colorize my life, I'm so sick of black and white?
Can you make it all a little less old?

Meat.................
I can do that! Oh oh, now I can do that!

Patti............................
Will you cater to every fantasy I got?
Will ya hose me down with holy water, if I get too hot?
Will you take me places I've never known?

Meat................................
I can do that! Oh oh, now I can do that!

Patti...................
I know the territory, I've been around
It'll all turn to dust and we'll all fall down
And sooner or later, you'll be screwing around

Meat...........................
I won't do that! No I won't do that!
Anything for love, oh I would do anything for love
I would do anything for love, but I won't do that, no I won't do that

Ok as I made the Story Tellers post I was listening to the CD. My little sister walked in to pick up my boys and takem to Grandma's for the weekend so my hubby and I can practice being married. She instantly rolled her eyes and said, "Crap Meat Loaf! Daddy listens to them all the time!"

Ha! I remember Daddy was the one who got me the Bat Out Of Hell Album.
Now that I'm thinking of it he also got me Moon Zappa's Valley Girl and Ozzy's Diary of a Madman. That explains so many things now doesn't it?

Tammy,
You didn't by chance see Meatloaf in "The Rocky Horror Picture Show"? I think he did that movie when he was just starting out.
Take care.
