There was a time when I suffered a lot from such problems. I went to see my G.P. he told me to cut out coffee. To be honest I did not believe him. But for me it worked and I have not had any such problems since then. He said the same applied with Chinese food because of the monosodium glutamate in it.

I do. I get ectopic heartbeats, pounding, racing etc and even fluttering occasionally. They were relentless while I was on my AS medication and is one of the reasons I stopped. My feeling is that they are caused by any food or medication that my body doesn't like, and yeast/mould is one of the biggest culprits for me. I'm now free of them almost all the time, with an occasional night when I lie awake listening to my heart going nuts. Good luck sorting it!

Spondyloarthropathy with symptoms of AS, Sjögrens and fibro. Previously took Celebrex, Methotrexate, Trepiline, Prednisone which seemed to trigger a flare and my illness became much worse. Symptoms now kept mostly under control with NSD, as well as cutting sugar, dairy and yeast and food intolerances. Mostly pain free now and all symptoms massively improved.

Yes indeed : "Good luck sorting it". Have suffered from arrhythmia for a very long time - and added to which, spiking hypertension (this in spite of anti-hypertensive treatment). All very tedious.
Twice recently on the Holter - the second time, the Holter was stick shift, I got home, and applied good ole physio tape. Can't invent it. Then, report came in @Badly maddeningly useless, kept slipping down my arm. Must have been made for an all-in wrestler with ultra magnificent bipeds - wrapped around my upper arm quadruple times, kept slipping down - the hospital (!) applied sellotape, Scotch to keep the cuff 'up'...HaHa Having then had a nerve wracking drive home, keeping the loop of the badly applied Horton machine from tangling up in the stick shift, I repositioned the whole flippin thing, and affixed physio tape to keep it in place. Report came back as a 'Poor Hortons'. Ho-Hum.
Heart arrhythmia. Yes,continues. Not as bas as was. Now on my 14th anti-hypertensive drug, not that it does much good, but...the arrhythmias are not as bad as, nor are the horrible cardio-vascular spasms as bad as (they were). Basically, have decided to stuff along with it. Take care - go well.

Goodness me, how did I manage so many slip-ups from oddly mixed paragraphs to naming the Holter as a Horton ? <scratches head> Apologies to anyone who tried to untangle the maze. A sad mess !

I had pressure in my heart for years. Then I discovered magnesium and only got symptoms when I forgot to take the supplements (400 mg/day) for a few days. I have been drug free 99% of the time.

Good thinking - I had ignored the magnesium angle. Must get some more in, Mag Threonate is the best, so they say. Thanks Robin.

I get those, sometimes heart just starts hicupping for want of a better way to put it. Usually when lying down but not always. I have to cough hard, jostle around or gently punch my chest and it corrects itself.

Been on the harness of course it's caught nothing. So I give up. Been like this all my life. Honestly docs look unconvinced when I tell them so I just don't anymore.
