I actually started doing them AFTER my diarrhea went away and my stomach had returned to normal. So can't really tell unless it helps my IBS symptoms. The way to do them is a retention enema, where you actually permanently retain all of a small amount of liquid (with probiotics in). I haven't been able to retain it for more than 20 min yet, so working on that.

Once I'm able to retain the liquid, and have done 10-20 enemas, waited at least 1 month, THEN I think I can evaluate. 2 months for proper evaluation, as it can take that long for new bacteria to establish itself.

Starting with the kefir in maybe 5 days, also. Just doing all of this to boost the worms. The worms are the main thing. This is just to help my body in the process. Also, anything you can do to lower inflammation in the gut is good, for inflammation can kill the worms, or make them lose their grip, same result.

Also, doing these enemas to practice before doing a FMT (fecal matter transplant), which is way more powerful.

very interesting that you are doing this and thank you for sharing. just fyi i killed 3 types of worms this winter with Rxs and think it helped. (granted one of them was a tape worm and perhaps different worms affect the body differently just as different bacteria do) just listen to your body though as you go through this to see if it's helping or hurting.

Yeah most worms you don't want in your body. Helminithic therapy regard 5 types of worms, with 2-3 being used mostly. Good article:

I have not been light headed for the last couple days, which is a great relief. I'm still weak and tired, but not light headed and feeling like I'm going to faint all the time. Apart from that, nothing new really. In about 2 weeks the worst phase is over, so I'm hoping I'll get some minor improvements after that.

Last couple days have been rough. I have slightly more energy than before and I am not lightheaded. But I just feel depressed. By upper back/neck is aching too, more than usual, and I can't ignore it and think about something else. It's always there and never goes away.

I don't want to take painkillers because I have such a sensitive stomach and easily get cramps. Hopefully, these symptoms -- the pain -- is caused by the worms, which makes you worse before you get better.

Been doing the water kefir, it tastes amazing and I'm giving it to my baby daughter to build up her stomach flora. There aren't a lot of studies on Kefir but the ones that have been done have generally found beneficial results. It's way more powerful than yoghurt, and I can't eat milk products, so it's a good alternative for me. When you make it at home you don't ferment it, so it's 100% natural.

Since maybe 2 weeks ago, my body temperature has gone up. Significanltly. For so many months I have been freezing constantly. Now, I rock a T-shirt even though it's pretty cold. I don't get cold anymore. I feels great. But I'm super skinny, trying to put on weight, but it's hard. I eat, but I don't put the weight back on.

At least I'm not loosing weight. So it's not declining. I'm maybe 10 kg's, 22 lbs (I think) from it being dangerous, and 20kg from it being super dangerous. Having severe diarrhea for 5 weeks is rough [*bleep*]. I thought it was the worms, but my father had the EXACT same symptoms, at the exact same time, so it was some kind of virus/bacteria.

My IBS is at about the same level. Some pain and disturbances but nothing super major. My stomach is doing good, better than usual. Taking solid [*bleep*] (pardon my french) on a daily basis, always in the morning. So that's encouraging.

That's impossible, they can't even reproduce in the body. So the amount you take, say 25, is the amount it stays until they leave the body or die (and then leave the body).

Doing OKAY. Have lots of gas, which I've had for 2 months since onoculation. This is funny, for the last 10 years I had absolutely zero gas. I never farted, ever.

Now, I fart like 20 times a day lol. My stomach is doing good, better than in a long time. The logs are more solid than ever... perhaps there's something to the research that finds that people with these worms have a richer microbiome.

Drinking the water kefir, flavoured it with fresh strawbeeries the other day, and it was AMAZING. A drink from heaven. But I like the taste from unflavoured water kefir. I like it a lot.

Did frozen blueberries today, let's see how that goes. I don't like to eat in the morning, so I drink water kefir which is filled with minerals and good bacteria and enzymes and beneficial yeasts. It's very good for digestion. There's also like 1% alcohol, so if you're into that ;=)

Just curious how you're doing and what kind you took? Was it the ones from biome restoration?

Necator Americanus, Hookworm, the most common kind used for therapy. Ordered from wormswell.com.

Update: I'm doing fine, not great but not terrible either. No improvement in the back so far, it's approaching the 3-month dash. Digestion still good but I have gut pains which I had long before I took worms, so it's not them, but they could be making it worse.

I will say this, my body temperature has increased. I was cold for so long, and I'm not anymore. I've been swimming in the ocean many days in the row now, and even though I'm very skinny I don't get cold, which is amazing. It's like I have some kind of inner furnace burning inside. It feels good, I never get too warm, just not cold.

Hopefully, within the next couple months, the inflammation in my body will go down. But I'm not really expecting it too, because 95% of every therapy I've tried showed no long term benefit at all. This AS condition is incredibly hard to treat.
